How To Import Custom User Agents To Firefox

Earlier this week I shared an Article  How To Switch Your User Agent In Chrome –  http://brainslodge.com/2016/09/how-to-switch-your-user-agent-in-chrome.html and I promised to share full details sooner.

Now I assume everyone knows what User Agent is except your friends you refused to share your knowledge / post with.
Today, we are going to a bigger part of User Agents on web browser and I will explaining based on Firefox because Chrome installs automatically. You can use the same method for other web browsers, if you have any issues, geeks are here to help.
Now, here is the trick:
Download the extension
For Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/user-agent-switcher

For Chrome: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/user-agent-switcher-for-c/djflhoibgkdhkhhcedjiklpkjnoahfmg?hl=en
Firefox

After installation on firefox, navigate / type  about:addons using the address bar, you’ll find the New extension there, just click on options then click on import . See the below pictures for more info:
firefox chrome
After the process, select the .xml file containing your User Agents and then import it. After importing, you’ll have access to over 100 User Agents.

user agents chrome firefox
Chrome

Installing that  same extension on Chrome contains some preset user agents. But I am not sure if you can import your custom user agent file to chrome yet.
I’ll also be sharing how to change user agents on Android device without root.
Share this with your friends. Thumbs Up!
