YouTube Go: An Official App To Save Videos For Offline Viewing

Heard about the YouTube Go app?

YouTube Go is A brand new app to download, enjoy and share videos.

Google has officially launched the Beta version of the app for countries where there seems to be poor Internet connection. Just like the official YouTube Android app with the option to save a video for offline viewing, YouTube Go has the same but this Beta version.

There are Basic and Standard Quality – around 144p and 360p  and for the main time there are no HD quality available, perhaps maybe YouTube Go plan to make video streaming use less bandwidth.i

Users can share downloaded videos using any local transfer method e.g blue tooth and this will save even more data although according to Google, users will have to verify  a15kb security check which will need to be performed first.
